I feel like I have been waiting my entire life for this moment, this period of time.
We have all lived through the day someone or another said the world would end. I remember the first time that came about in my conscious mind. I was in 8th or 9th grade. About 10 of my friends and I stood in a playground holding hands in a circle with our eyes shut thinking if we go at least we’ll all be together – the time came and went and we laughed for what seemed like hours and then were like, “ok, see you tomorrow.”
I feel like that a bit now. Obviously with many, many more life experiences behind me, but I feel like I have been talking about and waiting for 2012 expectantly for a while now. In my old company Tony&Tina, Tony and I would always talk about this time when the governments and economic systems would crash and we would begin anew – forced to put aside our selfishness and come together as a community to rebuild our world. And from the reading we did the positive side of it all made so much more sense to us. The hell and brim fire didn’t feel right. Some of that talk has come to light. Then there is the world ending in general ideas and there is a lot of disturbing science talking about how overdue we are for a real global catastrophe, but really, thinking about that is just a waste of time, since there is nothing we can do about it. Regardless, all the spiritual things I have learned in my life, and they've been varied, speak of a time of transformation. I perceive this today as being positive and, at the end of the day, joyous – the road getting there isn’t pretty, as we see now, but as I have referenced before my teacher Ellen Meredith Ilfeld says its like a house renovation, messy and uncomfortable and then beauty and harmony once its done. That’s how I feel about the world today – it’s a bit messy and uncomfortable in one way or another – everyone’s challenges look different and its important to honor that but we’re going to get through it with positive rewards at the end of the day – end of the day not the end of the world.
Back a couple of years I began to notice a change in the energy in and around me, and I did have a moment of fear. I thought what if everything really breaks down and we are living a primal lawless existence. I watch a lot of SCI-FI so I had those scary thoughts. Then I sort of got on with my life and forgot for a while. During that time I did a lot of work on myself. You can read my previous blog on my recent grid process as an example to see what I’m talking about. Then I began to come through it and certain aspects of myself that had only been hinted at before were stepping forward. Good things. I am finding strength from my inner and outer “source” in such deeper ways. I feel very connected. I think that we’ve been in this time of transition for a while and everything has been accelerated but no matter where you are in your journey I feel we are all “awakening.” I see acceptance, love and selflessness all around me. I have been looking at the world with new eyes and I truly believe we are growing up into a more compassionate global community. A part of that is taking responsibility for us; our energetic frequency has increased thus increasing the power of the law of attraction. It is extremely helpful to try, to intend and of course to really come from a place of love in all our thoughts and actions because we are all generating so much energy to everything and everyone around us that its only polite to be aware of this energy and to keep it positive.
I’m hopeful now. I can feel such amazing things happening energetically all around me and I believe this is happening to people all around the world. Where this new energetic consciousness will lead us I don’t know, but someplace good for sure. There is an energetic door now and forever opened and anyone can just walk through and begin to perceive reality from a broader perspective. I see people doing it everyday. When we look at the world today, its history and various possible futures we can see there are only a few things that really matter – loving compassion being top on my list. If we live in loving compassion, we’ll begin to feel that and then we attract it. Through this we help to generate that energy throughout the world.
I think we are in for some joyous times – yes there is still some mess to get through but that's OK when you look at things from the bigger picture. There is no denying we are in a time of personal and planetary transformation and we’re in the driver's seat, so let's open our hearts and make it wondrous – together.
