Awareness: An intricate interweaving of figure 8 patterns, or infinity patterns ∞, large and small, dances our energy systems together and is an energy system of its own that Donna Eden calls "the Celtic Weave." She also teaches an exercise by that name that restores and reinforces the fabric of the auric field, the boundary and space extending around the entire body that intelligently draws in energies and influences that we welcome, and filters out unwanted energies coming our way. Her Celtic Weave exercise can be found in her book, Energy Medicine. The exercise I share here is a free-style version I like to use.
Practice: I invigorate the weave of my aura in different ways. One of my favorites is to gently swing my arms above my head, and imagine the light shining from my hands while painting them back and forth, crossing my midline, swinging out, like an intertwining strand of DNA, from head to feet. I breathe in through my nose, out through my mouth, in a deep and relaxed way. I keep my knees soft and bounce a bit when my hands cross and when they round the outside of the turn. This looks a bit like conducting an orchestra, but slower, so I can feel the silky sensation of my auric field. I weave down the front of my body, then spread my arms wide to trace my sides, front to back. I reach around and send the weave across the back of my body.
Dragonflies can be drawn using only "8s" – a big one for the body, a small "infinity" for the eyes, and two long ones crossing the body become the wings. While doing the Celtic Weave practice, I love to imagine shining life force "dragonflies" pouring out from the core of my being, weaving the integrity of my true wellness through every cell and structure as they travel to the outside of my aura, my energy field. At the outer edge they become a luminous humming cloak, a shining fabric of light.
Mindful Focus:
Infinities of dancing 8's weave harmony through me ...
From my DNA, to my cells, my muscles,
My organs, my bones, my whole body,
My entire energy universe.
I am in my integrity, and in loving connection with all Life.
Warmly,
Lyn

Hi Lyn! Hope you're well! I love dragonflies! I've been thinking alot about hummingbirds when I do the Celtic Weave. Did you know they move their wings in a figure eight pattern? Just visualizing I have the wings of a hummingbird while doing the weave, or weaving eights has been very invigorating. Blessings,Rose
